YPF, our youth group for 13-18s, went away last weekend for our annual YPF weekend away. These times away always prove to be an exciting an important time, and this trip was no different. We left on Friday afternoon for the Isle of Wight, excited to see what God was going to do in the next couple days.
During our time at Westbrook Centre, we studied the book of James, got to know one another better, did some team building, spent time worshipping, prayed for one another, soaked in God’s presence and just generally had an awesome time.
Right from the first night, which was spent in worship, you could sense God’s hand on the weekend. By the end of the weekend, the group had bonded closely with one another building new friendships. More still, many had been prayed for and received an infilling of the Holy Spirit. Some felt prompted to step out more, and began right away by praying for their friends whilst others shared pictures and words with one another. One young person gave their life to the Lord.
All in all, we had an amazing weekend. God was at work amongst us and we are excited to see what He is going to do in YPF next!
