God is on the move…
I have been saying for a long time that I believe a new move of God is on the way. Prophetic voices around the nation have been announcing it for a while and the sense of expectation is growing. Many Christians believe it. But I am going to have to change that language as it’s no longer accurate to say ‘on the way’. It’s here. It’s happening. God is on the move!
Something has shifted. The atmosphere is changing. Last Sunday morning at Fleet Baptist Church was incredible, with a very significant proportion of the church literally on their knees in a spontaneous act of worship responding to the tangible presence of God. Afterwards many reported being profoundly aware of a fresh touch from heaven. In the evening meeting, again the presence of God filled the room powerfully and at least two people reported hearing the sound of a multitude of angels singing along with us.
God is on the move.
He promised it. The Bible says He doesn’t do anything without telling us about it first (Amos 3:7), so we shouldn’t be surprised! But we do need to steward it, embrace it and press in for more. When God moves, it is for a reason. It is to refresh and renew the church, in order for the church to carry His presence and make Jesus known, with signs of the presence of the Kingdom following.
God is on the move – and I am so excited to see what’s planned!
